The aide-de-camp of the Governor of Sint Maarten is employed by the Ministry of Defense. The ministry makes the aide-de-camp available to the Governor.
The aide-de-camp manages the agenda of the Governor, prepares domestic and international work visits and accompanies the Governor during these visits. The aide-de-camp also organizes receptions and ceremonies on behalf of the Governor. In doing so, the aide-de-camp ensures the correct execution of the protocol.
